When the Leaves Let Go
This one came together slowly. I was thinking about that part of autumn when the trees start to let go, not all at once, just bit by bit. The ground gets covered, the air feels cooler, and there’s a kind of hush in the landscape. I didn’t try to make it too neat, just let the pieces fall into place the way the leaves do.
